Cyclones in coal preparation plants tend to be subject to heavy abrasive wearing.

Our mining customers over the past six months have noticed that using Belzona® 1812 (Ceramic Carbide FP) rather than using our competitors wear compounds has increased the life of their cyclone maintenance, and has prevented our customers from having to apply sacrificial coatings in their cyclones as often as they usually do.

Belzona has more than 60 years of experience in epoxy polymer compounds and we pride ourselves in the quality and longevity of our repairs and our products.

The initial cost of our wear compounds versus our competitors is higher, yet the service life is more than double which is what keeps our customers stocking Belzona.

The longevity of our wear compound eliminates downtime cost while also being the most user-friendly product on the market.  Our products are 100% solids so there is no smell and the product has a shelf life expectancy of over five years.

Contact Chase Brown today at (270) 871- 6975 or cbrown@rumfordgroup.com for information on Belzona solutions in the coal fields.
